The Silent Companion

The Silent Companion is both a short-film project and a digital production workspace. Its public section presents the psychological story of an isolated man and his ageing black Labrador, publishes entries from the film diary and allows visitors to support the production.

Behind the public website is a protected workspace for the film crew. It brings together the screenplay, scenes, characters, locations, props, media, documents, tasks and overall production progress. The project therefore combines audience communication, fundraising and practical production preparation in one system.
